01 Β· Overview

The whole order, one call.

"Beer" and "liquor" are how people search, but alcohol delivery in Calgary is the honest description of what most nights actually require. A dinner party needs wine and a bottle of something brown for after. A backyard afternoon needs a flat of lager, a few coolers and a bottle of rosΓ©. A birthday needs tequila, mixers, ice and the good vodka. Calgary Liquor Delivery exists to cover the entire order in a single phone call β€” beer, wine, spirits, coolers and the mixers that hold it all together β€” delivered across Calgary, Airdrie and Chestermere, around the clock.

One call to 825-982-2586 reaches a real person who can build the whole order with you, confirm a real price and ETA, and send a driver. No five separate apps, no five separate delivery fees, no five separate ID checks at the door.

Alberta's liquor market is one of the most open in the country, which is good news for anyone ordering: the selection is huge, and a delivery service that carries across every category can genuinely replace a trip to the store rather than just supplementing it. We built the catalogue that way on purpose β€” beer, wine, spirits, coolers and mixers under one phone number β€” because the real-world order is almost never just one thing.

And it all comes back to one phone call. Beer, wine, spirits, coolers, mixers and ice, sized to your night and delivered together β€” no juggling apps, no stacking fees, no chasing down the one thing you forgot. That single-call simplicity is the whole promise of alcohol delivery done right in Calgary, and it is the standard we hold every order to.

02 Β· Categories

Everything on the shelf.

Beer, wine, spirits, coolers and the mixers that turn bottles into drinks.

Beer β€” domestic, import and Alberta craft, in singles through full flats. The everyday backbone of most orders. See the deep cut on our beer delivery page.

Wine β€” reds, whites, rosΓ©, prosecco and sparkling, from a reliable weeknight bottle to something worth opening slowly. Hosting? Tell us the menu and we will suggest a pairing on the phone.

Spirits β€” vodka, rye and whisky, rum, gin, tequila, liqueurs, brandy and cognac, in everything from 200 mL flasks to 1.75 L handles. The full back bar, delivered.

Coolers, seltzers, ciders and pre-mixed cocktails β€” the fastest-growing category in the province, and the easiest crowd-pleaser. Vodka coolers, hard iced teas, hard seltzers, ciders and ready-to-drink Caesars and cocktails.

Mixers and extras β€” pop, tonic, soda, juice, energy drinks, Caesar mix and rim, ice, and the bits that turn bottles into drinks. We would rather bring the whole order than have you make a second trip.

Soju, sake and the specialties. Tastes in Calgary have broadened fast, and so has the order sheet β€” soju, sake, vermouth, bitters and the building blocks of a proper home bar are all part of what we carry. If it lives on a liquor-store shelf, ask for it.

Wine for the table specifically. Because so many alcohol orders are tied to a meal, it is worth knowing we can match wine to what you are cooking β€” a crisp Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio for fish and salads, a Chianti or Cabernet for red meat and tomato sauces, a off-dry Riesling for spice, prosecco for anything celebratory. Tell us the menu on the phone and we will pull something that fits the food and the budget.

03 Β· Occasions

For every kind of night.

Hosting, the party that outgrew its supplies, gifts, or a quiet bottle of wine.

Last-minute hosting. Guests arriving in an hour and the bar cart is bare. One call covers wine, spirits, mixers and ice before they ring the bell.

The party that outgrew its supplies. It is going better than planned and the fridge is empty. We are open when the stores are not, so the night keeps going.

Gifts and gestures. A bottle delivered to a friend's door for a birthday, a thank-you, or a "sorry I missed it." Tell us what they like; we will handle the rest.

The quiet weeknight. Sometimes it is just one bottle of wine and no desire to leave the house. That is a perfectly good reason to call, and we treat it like one.

Office and team events. A Friday wind-down, a project that finally shipped, a send-off for someone moving on. We can bring a mixed order β€” beer, a couple of wines, a bottle of something nicer β€” to a downtown office or a house, with one ID check and one bill.

Holidays and stat days. The calendar is full of days the stores are closed but people very much want a drink β€” New Year's, the August long weekend, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve. Those are among our busiest shifts precisely because retail is dark and we are not.

Weddings, showers and milestones. Bigger moments need bigger orders, and we can handle volume with notice β€” cases rather than bottles, delivered to a venue or a home. For anything large or time-sensitive, a quick call ahead lets us stage it so it lands exactly when you need it, not in the middle of the toast.

The just-because. No occasion at all is a perfectly good occasion. A Wednesday that earned a good bottle, a reward for a hard week, a spontaneous "let's actually make cocktails tonight." Those calls are some of our favourites, and they get the same fast, no-judgement service as everything else.

04 Β· Legal & responsible

Licensed, by the book.

Legal by the book β€” ID at the door, no service to minors or intoxicated persons.

Alcohol delivery in Alberta runs under provincial liquor laws, and we follow them to the letter β€” not because we have to recite it, but because getting this right is the entire basis of being allowed to do it. Every recipient of alcohol must present valid government-issued photo ID on delivery, and the driver will check it every time, regardless of how old you look or how late it is. We do not deliver to anyone who is already intoxicated, and we never hand alcohol to a minor or to an adult who is obviously buying on a minor's behalf.

That framework is the difference between a delivery service and a liability. It is also why we are comfortable operating after hours and on demand across the city: the rules are clear, we know them, and we apply them the same way at 9 p.m. on a Tuesday as at 2 a.m. on a Saturday.

It is worth saying plainly, because it protects everyone: the ID check is not negotiable and not personal. A driver who asks a forty-year-old for ID is not doubting you; they are following the same rule they follow for everyone, every delivery, because that consistency is what keeps the service legal and on the road. Have your ID ready, the handoff is quick, and the night carries on.

05 Β· What to order

A simple order guide.

How much to get for dinner, a party, a cocktail night, or just the two of you.

If you are not sure what to order, here is the cheat sheet our phone staff use every day. Dinner for four to six: two bottles of wine (one white, one red), or one wine plus a six-pack, plus a bottle of something for after β€” an amaro, a good whisky, or a liqueur for coffee. Casual get-together of eight to ten: a flat of a crowd-pleasing lager, a box of assorted coolers and seltzers, one white and one rosΓ© for the wine drinkers, and ice. Cocktail night: pick one base spirit per cocktail you plan to make, then the mixers β€” tonic, soda, juice, bitters β€” plus limes and ice; a single 750 mL bottle makes roughly twelve to sixteen drinks depending on the recipe. Just the two of you: one bottle of wine, or a four-pack and a snack. There is no order too small to ask about.

The advantage of ordering by phone instead of an app is exactly this kind of help. An app shows you a grid and leaves you to guess; a person can tell you that the rosΓ© you are eyeing pairs better with the patio than the steak, that the 1.14 L handle is better value than two 750s for your crowd, or that you are about to under-buy mixers. Use that. It is free, and it is the part of the old dial-a-bottle model that the apps quietly deleted.

A note on quantities, since it is the thing people most often get wrong: a standard 750 mL bottle of wine pours about five glasses, a 750 mL bottle of spirits makes roughly sixteen one-and-a-half-ounce drinks, and a case of beer is, well, a case. When in doubt, slightly over-order on mixers and ice (they keep) and slightly under-order on the perishable enthusiasm of a Tuesday. We would always rather size the order right on the phone than have you stuck mid-party with everything but the tonic.

Finally, do not overthink the pairing rules. The single best piece of advice our phone staff give is to buy what your guests will actually drink, not what a sommelier would approve of β€” a crowd that loves a particular cooler or a specific lager will be happier with that than with something fancier they will leave half-finished. Order for the room you have, tell us the room, and we will help you get it right the first time.
